Welcome to The Golden Pheasant

The Golden Pheasant is a rare and special pub with history, character and a warm welcome that offers award-winning cask ales and delicious seasonal home cooked food. Set in the village of Plumley in Cheshire, our outstanding rural setting makes us a destination worth visiting with vast beer gardens for enjoying summer dinner and drinks, and cosy seating indoors. As well as offering a wide selection of cask ales, fine wines and great tasting seasonal food, we also provide guest accommodation with comfortable rooms that overlook the stunning Cheshire countryside. The pub is child friendly and we have a spacious garden with a play area to keep the little ones busy. We also have dog friendly sections inside the pub, so feel free to bring your four legged friends along.

Our 200 year old wayside Inn has been family owned for 88 years and is now home to the JW Lees ‘From Hop to Glass’ garden which won Best Show Garden at the 2018 RHS Tatton Flower Show. Being at the heart of village life, there are always plenty of different events taking place at the pub.
