JW Lees brewing legacy began in 1828 and now our beers are part of Manchester's history. 189 years later, we are proud to still brew our beer on site in the traditional way using similar recipes.
Beer is the world’s most widely consumed alcoholic beverage, so come and celebrate National Beer Day and sample our fantastic range of cask ales.

St. George's Day

St George's Day in England remembers St George, England's patron saint. The anniversary of his death, which is on April 23, is seen as England's national day. According to legend, he was a soldier in the Roman army who killed a dragon and saved a princess.

National Superhero Day

National Superhero Day was started in 1995 by a group of employees at Marvel Comics. PowerCapes.com wanted to encourage people nationwide to be heroes in their home community, so they decided to let everyone know that April 28 is National Superhero Day.

Bring your son or daughter in their favourite super hero costume between 4pm & 6pm, and receive a free child's meal on us when an adult's meal is purchased.
